One coordinated service instead of five separate jobs.

What the package brings together. Items marked unconfirmed depend on supplier and approval outcomes still being finalised before launch.

01

A new Android phone

An entry model, supplied under a clear ownership arrangement. It isn't free, the cost is part of the monthly price.

02

Your rules. Easy to adjust.

Planned for launch: approved apps, schedules and browsing boundaries, with simple changes from the Seacil parent app as your family’s needs change.

03

Mobile service

Calls, messages and a modest data allowance.

Allowance unconfirmed
04

Device insurance

Intended to cover damage, theft and loss through a licensed insurer. Excesses and limits would come from the final policy.

Not yet confirmed
05

Australian support

Self-service for routine requests, real people for exceptions and faults, during published hours.

How setup would work

Arrives ready. Nothing to configure on the kitchen bench.

1

See everything first

Total commitment, phone ownership, insurance status, excesses and cancellation terms, shown before you agree to anything.

2

Choose the starting rules

A short setup flow: pick a stage, the apps you approve and your family's schedule. We verify you're the parent without keeping unnecessary ID.

3

We prepare and test it

The phone is configured and checked against your choices before dispatch.

4

Guided activation

Together you confirm calls, messages, mobile data and that the rules are active. Then your child gets an explanation of how their phone works.

Three access stages

The same phone grows with them.

Move between stages whenever your family decides, no new phone, no extra charge for the change. Designed initially around ages 10 to 15.

First Phone

STAGE 1

Calls, messages, maps, camera, calculator and calendar. No social media. Music optional.

Growing Independence

STAGE 2

Adds approved school and transport apps, selected entertainment and restricted browsing.

Teen

STAGE 3

Broader app access with limits, for eligible ages and subject to each platform's rules.

Age-restricted social platforms would only be offered when the user is eligible. App access depends on age eligibility and each platform's rules.

Modes through the day

Rules that switch on schedule, and they can see it coming.

Schedules are designed to run on the phone itself, so they don't depend on a live connection. Your child always sees which mode they're in and what's next.

Everyday

Essential tools and the apps you've approved.

School

Only agreed essentials, consistent with school policy.

Bedtime

Selected apps pause. Calls and messages stay on, optionally family only.

Temporary exception

A verified parent unlocks a specific app or period. Normal rules resume on their own.

The bedtime transition

A heads-up, not a hard cut-off.

Who owns the phone

The phone would remain owned by Seacil or an approved funding partner and is loaned to your family for the term. It is not free: its cost is spread across the monthly price.

At the end of 24 months

AReturn the phone.
BUpgrade, quoted separately.
CKeep using it at a lower service price.

Any purchase or release from management depends on the final approved arrangement. A new 24-month commitment would always need a new agreement, never an automatic rollover.

Straight answers

What it is, and what it isn't.

Can it guarantee my child is safe online?+

No. Seacil provides configured boundaries and support, not guaranteed outcomes. No phone setup can prevent every risk or replace conversations at home. We're also not an emergency response service.

Could I set this up myself?+

Yes, Built-in Android family controls and parental control apps exist. The difference is coordination: phone, rules, mobile service, insurance and Australian support handled together, with rules prepared before the phone arrives.

Is insurance included?+

It's intended to be, but no policy has been arranged. If cover is confirmed, the insurer would set eligibility, excesses, limits and claim decisions, and you'd see them before agreeing. We won't promise free or immediate replacements.

Will you see my child's messages or photos?+

The service isn't designed to read messages or view photos. Location sharing would be optional and disclosed. We'd collect only what's needed to run the rules and support the phone.

How will the parent app work?+

Your child’s Seacil phone is planned to pair with a companion app on your own phone. You’ll be able to stay informed about their phone use and adjust settings, schedules and agreed boundaries as they grow. The app is planned for our 2027 launch, with final features and supported devices confirmed before orders open.

When can I order?+

Seacil is launching in 2027. We'll announce the exact date closer to launch. Some arrangements, including insurance and device management approval, are still being finalised. Registering now isn't an order and doesn't reserve a phone; we'll let you know when ordering opens.
